We arrived today, just hours after the storm, wondering why there were so many clouds assuming the mountains were causing the cloudy weather, not realizing that a monster storm had struck last night and what we witnessing was evaporation. Surprise event that has French TV captivated as there was no river over flowing, just a bucket of water dropped on each square inch of Nancy within an hour!!!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18158918
