Hotel Haus Sonneck, Schluchsee, Germany ... Black forest region ....
Check out this beautiful location in Germany's black forest region. May is a good time to visit! We found the Haus Sonneck a great place to stay in comfort away from the maddening croud. Good internet connections! http://www.booking.com/hotel/de/haus-sonneck-schluchsee-blasiwald.en-gb.html?...

Elizabeth May: A devastating first year of Conservative majority rule in Canada | Vancouver, Canada | Straight.com
World wide the shift towards intollerance is gaining ground! In the past few days I have witnessed signs of Europe sliding into a new facism ethic that should remind us that just below the semblance of outward tolerance and stability lurks a monster willing to blast sanity into smithereens and stab at the heart of cooperative diversity. Europe is at a tipping point. Never, before in mankind's history has there been a more dangerous period with respected muslim religious leaders openly and seriously spouting doctrines of genocide and those being targeted openly stating they are ready to unleash nuclear war on a scale never before contemplated as a serious proposition. Depopulation of planet earth as seriously proposed by some Russian leaders is mistakenly seen as a good policy arising from irrationality that spawns novel forms of individual efforts of sustaining fascism as a credible path of change as witnessed recently in Britain and Norway. We need to be aware that tipping points towards irrational and sickening violence are only too easily reached in a world ever more closely connected. http://www.straight.com/article-676751/vancouver/elizabeth-may-devastating-fi...
BBC News - France weather: Violent rainstorm wreaks havoc
We arrived today, just hours after the storm, wondering why there were so many clouds assuming the mountains were causing the cloudy weather, not realizing that a monster storm had struck last night and what we witnessing was evaporation. Surprise event that has French TV captivated as there was no river over flowing, just a bucket of water dropped on each square inch of Nancy within an hour!!!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18158918
